Well fellas, here's an open invitation to my party. I know several of the people posting here are very close to us. Here's my question, do you want to learn something and know the truth or just wallow in your own beliefs?

Our party is not a sales event. It is an eye opener for those that "know it all" and those just starting out.

Here's a link.... http://thehornshoppe.websitetoolbox.com/post?id=4628848

Don't be scared, come learn the Truth. Hear the Dowdy Lama's GM70....eat our food, drink our beer, learn something, meet nice people,.

Just picked up a pair of Model 1s here in Chicago, that were said to have once been your personal pair. I will make sure they are playing non-stop during HornFest in your honor.

Now if I could only find an S1 Miniwatt to pair with them...

I'll be there Ed!

I meant to post this earlier, but you beat me to it. Here's my write up, in case that's helpful.

Hornfest, Leesville, SC, April 29-May2

Ed Schilling is hosting the annual Hornfest at his place outside Columbia, South Carolina April 29 – May 2. No reservations are necessary, just drop by and stay as long as you like. Hornfest is a redneck audio gathering and not a sales event

The star of the show will again be Jim Dowdy’s (“The Dowdy Llama”) $30k GM70 tube amp, which will light and warm the famed “Pink Room” with an amazing tubey goodness the likes of which must be experienced. With the addition of the big Model 3 speakers and The Truth buffered preamp, the sound should be amazing.

There will be food, drink and friendly people from all over (some folks fly in or drive from several states away). All are invited, no RSVP needed. Kid’s and womenfolk welcome, too!

For background, Ed designed and builds a single driver rear loaded horn speaker through his business, The Horn Shoppe. He recently added a buffered preamp dubbed The Truth. Love him or loathe him (or his speakers), Ed puts on a good party.

Stop by if you can!
