Hello,

I have a 27" iMac on a fairly large desk.  I'm looking for a good sounding desktop system for around $1000.  I used to know the Nuforce system, but the speakers have changed and I don't know what else.  What are the components and total price that would make up a Nuforce desktop system.  I assume this would need to include DAC, amp, and speakers (plus maybe a woofer?).

   But if you also have very high-end headphones (such as HD800), then you need
Icon HDP + Icon Amp + S-X (we need to provide RCA to Rj45 cable but that's easy) + W-1
You have the upgrade path of replacing the speaker or the Icon amp.
