Butler Audio amp modules

I have two Butler amp modules for sale, they come with heatsinks, rca and output connectors and need only power transformer and 6+V for the tubes and a box. Rated at 150 RMS and tested briefly, barely broken in. Although the tubes are not exactly in the signal path they do sound fantastic and are detailed and warm with lots of power to drive almost any speaker. Price is 245 euro each and includes shipping worldwide. I will be happy to answer any question, here is a picture of the two:

Nikola,
You might want to add more details on the power supply requirements. For example, the tube seems to be a 6SN7 variant and if so, requires a 6.3V filament supply @ 600mA for each tube. The solid state section of the amp will probably require a bipolar supply, and the high voltage section of the tube will need a supply unless this is slaved off of the power transformer. Try and see if you can spell these details out so that the buyer has an idea of the DIY requirements for this hybrid tube/solid state design prior to considering the purchase.
Best,
Anand.

Hi Anand,
Many thanks for trying to help, much appreciated.
here is what Mr.Butler sent as advice for the power supply:
"You need a power transformer that can supply the following AC voltage and
current:
Secondary: 47.5V - CT - 47.5V ( No load )
44.2V - CT - 44.2V ( @ 4.64Amps)
-This will allow the amp module to produce 35VAC RMS into
8 ohms (153 Watts)
-The DC on the pcb will be approximately +/- 65V idling
and +/- 55 whilst producing 153 Watts.
Additionally you will need a small power supply that produces 6 VDC
regulated for the tube heaters and relay protection (The pcb says 6.3V, but
6V will give better tube life). The amp module will not operate without
this voltage applied.
The easiest way is to get a small universal wall wart type (sold in Walmart,
etc.) that produces 6V regulated @ least 350mA minimum per module (mA rating
can be higher, but the voltage must be 6V).
If you cannot find a 6V unit, use a 12Volt with a 20 Ohm, 5 W dropping
resistor in series with the + voltage wire."
I can provide a regulated 6V PSU that will only need a 9V transformer to work, I actually have the perfect transformer to power both but shipping will be way too much and I decided not to offer it as I cannot pay for its shipping. I am open to offers of course, both on the transformer and the modules too. I have the schematic that shows the exact places where the wires need to go, it is really a matter of minutes to make it work and I will do my best to help in any way.
thanks again for looking

hi
as it seems , you are actually asking more money for the modules then butler.
the price i got quoted from butler is $454 for two boards :
2 Module Mother boards: 195 x 2 = 390
Tube + Daughter boards: 32 x 2 = 64
you are asking 400 Euro which is approx. $492.
let me know if i got that wrong .
i am looking for two boards if you can lower your price .

Well, that's embarrassing...
I bought the two modules from Overkill Audio, Derek Wilson is a very honest person and I trust what he said, I payed 450 British pounds for the two modules including shipping and I thought my price was OK,here is the add:
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/swap-meet/155426-aladdin-s-cave-clear-out-sale.html
Now these are two modules, not just boards, they come with everything-wiring harness, very heavy brass connectors and heatsinks, already assembled and tested, you can see the signature of JK Butler on the boards as he test each one by himself to assure they work as specified.Basically a plug and play story and I was hoping that shipping is a good bonus, sometimes it can be quite expensive and someone not in the US will really appreciate it.
You just need a transformer(either 110 or 220V) for them and a 6V supply for the tubes, I do have the transformer but it is very heavy and shipping will be prohibitively expensive.
Derek used to run Overkill Audio and he has experience with truly high end gear, he said that these are one of the best if not the best power amp modules he has used. He was even thinking of using batteries to power them up which would cost twice as each module but he always built stuff the best way he could, here is his loudspeaker design for example:
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/swap-meet/155426-aladdin-s-cave-clear-out-sale.html
Apologies for the long post, I have never posted here but I have learned a lot from audiocircle and I wanted to apologize, I was not trying to make a fool of anyone, I just didn't know what the situation was.Could you please check if the price quote you got was for the same module with all the stuff around it, will be much appreciated...
P.S. As I said I am open to offers...

there might be a different module for the 2250 ( more power )
i contacted butler for clarification, and will post when i know more .

I think the 2250 uses four modules that are paired two by two to give it twice the power, at least that is what I see in pictures...
I have played mine for no more than 2 hours, I was actually just testing them and they drove these speakers with ease:
http://www.swanspeaker.com/products/products.aspx?cid=3&sid=41&pid=106
so their 150W RMS is quite conservative. I think other people reported that the Butlers can drive almost any speaker, that is the reason I bought them in first place as my speakers are 80dB/W sensitive and their imedance drops to around 1.7ohms...
