Apparently GIMP resynthesizer does the same thing and it's free.

Tired of taking pictures of things?  Tired of having people and objects hogging all the attention in your photographs?  Inpaint is the solution for you!  Yes, you too can take an otherwise boring photograph and make it even more boring with Inpaint!

Don't believe us?  Just take a listen to these satisfied Inpaint customers:

"I took a picture of the Eifel Tower, but I really wanted to take a picture of an empty field!  What could I do!?  With Inpaint I was able to take out the Eifel Tower and turn my picture into an uneventful strip of trees and dirt!  Thank you Inpaint!"
-Larry  Smallville, MN

"I needed a background for a greeting card design I was working on, but all I had were senior pictures of my kids!  Oh no!  But with Inpaint I was able to remove my kids completely and got nothing but a pristine seamless backdrop!  It would have taken me hours to rubber stamp out their faces, but with Inpaint I was done in seconds!"

I only shoot walls because I suck at everything else.  So it's nice to remove anything that obscures the wall.  With Inpaint and other content awareness type of programs, I can fix those so called portraits taken by the pro's and compare their walls to mine.  In comparing my work to theirs, it seems to me I'm getting pretty good at shooting walls.
