Has anyone ever heard or delt with TC Sounds Inc.  from San Diego?  They have a very attractive 10" woofer (TC9) Fs 25hz from a 10" in 0.35cu.ft sealed.  Is this real?

If I remember correctly, they manufacture the drivers that SVS uses in all their subwoofers.  I believe they're good drivers.  Marbles has some subs that use those woofers, maybe you should ask him.

Damn, I just remembered he'll be in Europe for a few weeks.

Christof,

TC Sounds is a good sized OEM sub manufacturer. As mentioned SVS uses their drivers as does Stryke. I'm sure there are many others that we just aren't aware of. They do not sell direct. You have to purchase through a dealer. Build quality is exceptional. At least on my Stryke AV-12's.

How would you say they add up to the Titanic MKII woofers, quality wise.  As for purchasing, I am thinking about buying 100 of them for kits, I know this is still a small quanity, relatively speaking but maybe they would sell to me.

The Titanic MKII or MKIII drivers?  Without knowing the specific specs of the TC driver in question I can't say with any certainty.  TC does make quality drivers though, as does PE (who I assume source them from Eminence, but that's JUST an assumption).

I believe if you can afford 100 drivers they will probably sell them to you.  Are you wanting to sell them as individual drivers or are you going to offer a kit (driver, cabinet, amp, etc.)?  I assume you have some knowledge of subwoofer design?

Well, I forgot to look at your link.  After doing so, I assume you're talking about using the TC9 10" 2565 driver?  Where are you getting .35ft^3 from?  In a .35ft^3 (9 liters) sealed enclosure this driver will have -3dB point of 75Hz.  IMHO, this driver is useless for anything other than car audio applications unless you plan on using an LT circuit or some other form of EQ to extend the low end response.  Even then, I would say you'd have to use multiple drivers, at least 2-4, to make it a worthwile endeavor.

I don't mean any disrespect, but I have to ask again, do you have any knowledge of subwoofer design?

The response graph of the 10" looks like it may go fairly low, but I can't read the numbers.  High amp power requirements: 1000 - 1500 watts!
They state that they have a minimum order requirement of 50 drivers for their standard products. Ask for response graph copies.  Model the T-S parameters.  See what you get and compare performance vs price.

Amazing how the different boards like different drivers.  :D
TC Sound is an OEM manufacture. Some boards worship these
drivers. Here is their website. http://tcsounds.com/lms5400.htm
Check out that woofer........."OMG" The cone moves 4 inches!!!

The woofer of the Salk HT3 is a custom TC Sounds 10" driver.  The bass of the HT3 is tight, fast and deep, with more than one HT3 owner reporting a flat in-room response down to 25 Hz.

(And in a true bit of irony, I have Bela Fleck's "Flight of the Cosmic Hippo" playing right now!)

I have 4 of the 12" TC2+'s I am going to use in my dipoles.  Like others said, they OEM for many other makers.  They have been around for a long while in a relative sense.  I think you can buy their drivers from their website directly now.

Oaudio.com sells their drivers.  Silver sound drivers are TC Sound based.  Many others too.  Good stuff.
