I was looking for a DAC & HP amp for use on the move (holidays, longer journeys).
I bought the HDP few days ago, without auditioning, in spite what seemed to be a high EU price  for such a miniature device.

I have to say I am surprised how good this little combo performs, especially the DAC.

I think this is an excellent product in terms of performance, design and quality materials used.

I think HDP could win much more customers in Europe if only NUFORCE reconsiders what I see to be a non-negligable disproportion of US pricing (449 $) and EU pricing (499 Euro).

In any case a fine product, I can only recommend !

Is there an external battery option for HDP ... that would not only make the unit portable but possibly perform better by getting it off the grid!

I think the EU pricing will come down when there are more distribution. We had a very tight supply until last week.
