Can't believe I'm contemplating this, but I think it's time to sell my long-time reference DAC and CDP.  I've used the Cary 306/200 primarily as a DAC so the CD transport section has seen very little wear.  Does 24/192 upsampling (selectable) and HDCD decoding.

The unit itself is in excellent condition and built like a tank... photos really do not do it justice.  The only blemish is that the shiny finish on the all-metal remote control has worn off (never liked that remote... heavy and hard to use).  I have the original manual and double boxes for shipping as well as a copy of the IR remote codes to make programming a universal remote easier. I purchased this new and it was shipped directly from Cary to me.

We are almost  neighbors... I'm in Detroit.  Not sure about how that works with customs and such shipping to Canada, but I'd be willing to give it a go provided you cover any import costs.

That's a mighty big box.... this player is a beast with a box more fitting for an amp.  I'm including a Purist Audio Design power cord with the player.



Close up of the remote... the only thing I won't miss about this player.  Heavy, all-metal with back-lit buttons.  Switch at top changes functions of buttons so you can do things like change inputs and sample rates from your couch.

I owned the Cary 306/200 and I can tell you that it is the best CD player I have owned. I now have a Esoteric DV-50s and there are times I really, really miss the Cary. Whoever buys this player will get one of the best players on the planet, IMHO.
