cool, my first piece of gear was a pioneer stereo receiver I bought in 1977

My first stereo was a Pioneer SX-737 a few years older than the one you just picked up, when they still had the blue dials, I wish I had kept it, but it got handed down to an in-law. Enjoy the "new" receiver.

Still own my first receiver....a Pioneer SX-1010...it's packed away in the basement.
