McIntosh 60 Watt Amps..vintage?
« on: 1 Apr 2010, 12:07 am »
Hello- By way of a recent family member's passing, I recently came into a boat load of vintage tube amps, various vintage radio components, Philco radio tubes still in their boxes, etc.. and I don't know much about these things. I have 2 McIntosh 60 Watt Amps that are in great condition and light up whenever plugged in. If these are in working order, how much would something like this fetch from the vintage radio enthusiast circle?

Depends on what model McIntosh amps you have and overall condition.  If you list the model number folks would have a better idea of how to help.

You can also check Audiogon and see what people are asking for your particular gear.

Just an FYI, some vacuum tube amps don't behave well when run without a load. Hopefully nothing failed when you powered them up.
