The MOST EXPENSIVE cable elevators I could find.

For those "Audiophiles" looking to extract that last "smidgen" (is that in the dictionary?) of accuracy, neutrality, Bass, and Detail, the "lowly" cable elevator is a "MUST DO"

Take a look at my new additions.  The colorful model is made from an exotic petroplastic polymer that is said to dampen floor vibrations as well as repel any and all electrostatic charge and discharge.    The color combination is "key" in the design and works best in that exact combination and height.

The Light colored wooden elevator is "hewn" from an exotic asian tree, genetically developed to again provide significant stiffness and vibration control (dampning as well as "dampen"ing)

It will also repel both RMI, EMI and BMI with selective repulsion characteristics, which are patent pending.

But both have multiple utility and also offer other significant properties such as "engaging young children" and serving as utensils for Chinese Food

Hi all....
          I have tried two things that work good for lifting cables and power cords off the floor....

           The first is unglazed 4 inch flower pots from Home Depot...
            Turned upside down.. I use these in my Home Theater system.
           These sound very good, but not as good as my second example.
           
            The second is ceramic high voltage power line insulators...
             I got 18 of these because the local power company was putting
in new poles..  I talked to the foreman and he saved them for me...
They are "Cable Elevator" look a likes...  From the reviews I have read
these have the same good qualities... I use these in my two channel system...

I purchased a box of 10 ceramic electric fence insulators at a Farm Supply store. They are only about 2" in diameter, so I built some small stands for them. You want to be over 4 inchs off the floor at a minimum.

I swear the colored plastic ones are building toys (my kids had a set of them).

I in the simplier the better camp, so when I get into my dedicated sound room (in about 1.5 years) I'll just cut my bare ended cryo'd plenum grade single strand CAT5 as short as reasonably possible and let it hang in the air.  Do the same with the power cord.

The rest of the system will be an audio PC with digital amp feeding single driver speakers.  Do digital cables suffer from RF and, static, etc. like analog cables?

Someone on Audio Asylum once suggested ceramic knife rests glued to upside-down ceramic bowls.  He used some cheap oriental-themed stuff from a place like Pier One.

I think this is for those on a "beer" budget.

People like Tyson "and friends" use "MT" scotch bottles.  I heard that the Aluminum cans "ring" at certain frequencies

And isn't aluminum a "conductor"??
