I just wanted to share some pics on the construction of my custom enclosures that are currently being built by Christof.  I'm so excited   :bounce:  :bounce:  and I just can't wait for them to get here.

The sub above your post is not mine (I wish!!!!!!) ..

That sub was designed by Bauvorschlag, a German DIY speaker builder. He uses this Rhombicuboctahedron geometry to build this sub which utilize several smaller drivers as opposed to a single larger driver here in the US.

I'm using the Shiva (downfiring) for these enclosures. Since they are very heavy (~90lbs), I'll have to special order some heavy duty stainless steel spikes for the feet.

BTW, these subs are "two of a kind", (I own a pair  and Chris, the builder, own the other pair). Chris won't be building these anymore due to the amount of work involved in constructing, veneering, and finishing 26 sides with 12 coats of finish. :(
