Jason's HT1-TL-based home theater in ziricote
« on: 29 Mar 2010, 09:12 pm »
Jason wanted to build a home theater system around the Veracity HT1-TL's and an HT2C center channel.  For the surrounds he used SongSurrounds and included a SongSub to round out the package.  He wanted a dark wood with a lot of character.  Ziricote was a natural.  Here are some pics...

First an image of the entire set-up...

Next a shot of the side panel of one of the HT1-TL's...

Finally, a close up of the HT1-TL top section...

Have a wonderful cinematic experience, Jason!

Very nice choice of wood. Looks like a killer package.

I saw them on my trip to Jim's last week.   The HT1-TL's were very cute!  Having seen a pair of songtowers, I was expecting the HT1-TL's to be bigger.  The Ziricote was so fantastic that I ordered my Soundscapes in the same veneer.

Very nice! After seeing the Ziricote, I am very curious to see the Soundscapes in it. I will be placing my Soundscape order soon, after the battle of the veneers comes to an end.

Wow! Those are rally nice. If I ever upgrade to the Soundscapes, I think I'll go with that veneer. I need dark speakers because they serve a dual music and home theater purpose and those speakers are dark with real character. Good choice Jason and nice work Jim.

Congrats, Jason!  The veneer is one of my favorites; great choice.

really love the front baffle on the HT2C

what's the wood for the bull nose?  Sets off a very nice "frame" on the baffles.

Congrats Jason

Amazing. I don't know how Jason will be able to turn off the lights to watch the movies. I'd just keep the lights on to look at the speakers!

....Too Awesome!
The veneer looks.."larger than life"..
At first I thought it was a Faux Glaze!
Great design idea.

Boy, that Ziricote has a real 3-D look to it. Maybe the speakers should come with special glasses. ;)
