Fullrangeman - Joule requires much more often is likely due to your output tubes - 6C33 Russian triodes. From what I've read they are not as stable as most other tubes. Not a knock, as they sound glorious and seem to last long (to/for me). I check mine about every 20 hrs of use, and always seem to require some tweaking. But easy to do and sound is wonderful.
