The enclosures were fabricated from the original Dan Wiggens design. They are 18” cubes finished with a mat-black laminate. There are no formal specs available but this is what the designer wrote:
“uses a single PR-15 passive radiator and a single DPL12 driver in a 75 liter box. The box is stuffed with 3 pounds of polyfill, and 700 grams of added mass to reach a 17.5 Hz tuning frequency. The resulting response will yield anechoic response to 20 Hz, and typical in-room response to 16Hz”
I had them installed in my home theater for about a year and they have been in storage ever since. They are in excellent condition.
I paid $396 just for the drivers.
Asking $225, prefer local SFBA pickup.
