Just received my weekly email from Elektor and they are offering a DVD featuring Menno van der Veen on valve gear; preamps, power amps, feedback and transformers. 3.5 hours plus slides and 25 Elektor articles on valve equipment.

Thanks for the tip!  I just ordered a copy.   Pictures are sometimes worth a thousand words.  So how much are video's worth?

I recently discovered some O'scope tutorials on youtube.  Immesearably useful!

I agree, a short video of something can make a world of difference and this is anything but short. I ordered a copy as well and am looking forward to it.

I received my DVD today and have thus far only watched a little of it but it looks to be very well done. Wish I had this when I first started learning about valve amps.  :thumb:

I don't recognize all the faces in the audience but I did see Jan Didden. It sounds like there are other high end Dutch audio folks present as well.
