« on: 25 Mar 2010, 09:47 pm »
Selling my 9 month old Emotiva USP-1 pre-amp.  I am asking $350 + shipping from 61822.

Here is some information from the emo website:

Analog Bliss.

That's the thinking behind the USP-1, the first of a new generation of Emotiva stereo preamplifiers. Drawing from key design elements of the now legendary RSP series, the USP-1 has pushed the envelope, emerging as a new standard for pure analog preamplification. Dynamic. Articulate, Quiet. Flexible. Correct.

You've got a multi-channel AVR or processor...why would you need a stereo preamp? Simple. It just sounds that much better. For music, there is no substitute for the richness of pure analog sound.

Ready to rediscover your vinyl? The USP-1 has high-performance moving coil/moving magnet phono preamp circuitry.

Wondering how much more detailed those CD's can sound? Try pairing the USP-1 and the ERC-1 Reference CD Player. You'll be amazed. (We were!)

We've taken the best features of a classic preamplifier and updated them to allow easy integration with your high performance multichannel home theater system.
• AVR/PROCESSOR INTEGRATON

The USP-1 easily integrates with a multi-channel or AV processor using Home Theater bypass switching. Use the preamp outputs on your processor to connect to the HT inputs on the back of the USP-1.

During normal stereo use, the USP-1 operates as a normal preamplifier. In HT BYPASS mode, the USP-1 simply becomes a passive pass-through connection for the signals from your processor, allowing it to control the left, right, and subwoofer channels.

• 2.1 BASS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The USP-1 features a flexible 2.1 variable bass management system.

The High Pass and Low Pass inputs have variable frequency controls that allow you to select a cut-off frequency from 50Hz to 250Hz.

A subwoofer can be used with either full range or high pass settings. All Bass Management outputs remain active, in conjunction with the full range outputs.

Outstanding specs, an elegant yet practical feature set, and an unrivaled price make the USP-1 an easy choice.
