Uses a high quality molded plug on each end. This is one of the cost saving measure that allow this cord to be sold for a reasonable price. It's a good connector, but doesn't cost what a Wattgate does.

The Extreme is a great "bang for the buck" power cord. They are 6 foot length. I have 5 available. In excellent condition, with no cuts tears, or abrasions. The heavy shielding does make them a bit firm. They tend to hold their curves when draped around an object. Nothing objectionable, and flexible enough to make any sane bends to reach a component. Its just not a limp noodle type wire.

I'm picking up one of these cords for my Mhdt Havana which doesn't use a grounded IEC anyways. For $50, I'd be hard pressed to do better for a 2 wire IEC application.

Hi John, I have received the Extreme power cord, silver coated AC plug was a nice touch and you're right about the shielding make for a cable that will hold a bend. Just quick comparisons on the Eastern Electric Dac with a Kaplan cord shows this to be a very capable power cord and well worth $50. I saved myself $300 on the power cord that I had been looking at and even more had I wanted the Kaplan cord. I only wish I had a reason to get another one of these cords.

Sounds like you have a personal problem for which there's simply no help for you.     
 
As I stated, my Extreme cord is working extremely well on my borrowed EE Dac(soon to by my cryo'd Havana thursday) and I personally couldn't be happier with my purchase,,, pretty much the same way I was feeling sunday night when my Boston RED SOX came back twice in the season opener to win that game, much to the delight of Neil Diamond who was on hand to sing "Sweet Caroline" in the 8th inning,,, a Fenway trandition..
 
As much as I'd love another one of these power cords, I have absolutely no need for one, plus my closet is already full of stuff I don't need. And why would I want to deprive a fellow AC're from benefiting from this AC cord steal of a deal?
