Rackmounting the BCD-1

Just in case you, as I do, prefer to rackmount your gear, Bryston sells a sturdy pair of rack ears (with the required Torx screws) for the BCD-1.

I've just fitted them and mounted the BCD-1 in my rack, along with a BP-26/MPS-2, a BDA-1, a Tascam CD-01U Pro, a Perreaux TU3 tuner, and for ballast, a Torus RM-15.

A solid high fidelity package, that together with my non-rackmountable amp, does justice to the Tannoy System 15 DMT II speakers.

Now thinking about a 4B-SST Squared or a pair of 7B-SST Squared to complete the package. . .anyone using Bryston to drive Tannoy DMT series monitors?

Happy listening all!

JT.

I like the rack ears, when they came out with the BDA-1,I seen a pict of the BDA-1 with the faceplate
and ears as on pc.I believe bryston made 50 or so for some studios.
I managed to get me paws on one :thumb:.I'm gonna ask James or Bryston the price of the ears for my BCD-1.Thanks for that one.
