I think the Modwright SWL 9.0SE is a terrific preamp, sometimes I wish I had never sold mine. I preferred the 9.0SE before the tube rectifier, but that's just me. Unless you're dead set on the Signature upgrades, frankly, I think it's outstanding all on its own.
