I don't think I have ever seen a movie that evoked more emotions than Hachi-A dog's tale.  It is a wonderful story about a dog's undying love for his master.  Whether or not you love dogs you need to watch this movie.  4.5 out of 5 stars.

My daughter cried for at least 15 minutes.    She is 8 years old and said that it was a bad movie because it hurt her feelings.

If you are a dog lover this movie is an expression of why we love dogs.    Show me a cat that would sit there for 9 years waiting for his best friend.    :D

"Quill" is a Japanese movie in the same vein.  It has not been released in the US, which is a shame.

Thanks for the tip.  I will look for the movie.  At first, I thought it was entitled "Hibachi, a Dog's Tail", the story of a restaurant in Korea. Thanks for clearing that up.  :D
