Hello this is my first post and I'm interested in purchasing the Avastar preamp and the Ultra 550 amp. Are these units in stock and if not what is the normal build time in regards to them?

I'm not part of AVA, just a very satisified customer, but generally speaking it seems 4-5 weeks. I have a Double Ultra 550 and I'm very happy. As I hear more gear, I've been shown time and again what a bargain it is. Good luck and Frank or crew will chime in with the actual lead time.

Another satisfied customer here. Frank has been ahead of his estimates for all of my orders, and I've ordered a fair number of pieces from him. Compared to a lot of quality makers of custom goods, I feel he has really good response time.

Just to throw my 2 cents in, I have inventory for immediate shipment of Longhorn Green and Golds. It works better for me to do things in batches and the benefit is that I can ship almost the same day the order is received or at least the next day (unless it's the weekend).

And another satisfied client here. When I ordered my T-DAC and 550 back in February of 05 Frank told me that his best amp guy (Larry?) was on vacation and that his DAC lady (Patty?) was out having surgery and it would take 30 days, cool. If I remember right, they showed up a little over three weeks later, even cooler. I like it, when you buy some thing from Frank you are just not a sale but a client and you can call just about any time and talk to Frank him self and he is more then happy too help you if he can. Call me a Fan-boy, but I am a client for life now  .
