Dave,
Are you aware that owning a Torus product is equivalent to owning a Bryston product in terms of one's legitimacy as a "Bryston Owner" for this circle. If that isn't enough consider that VOLKS owns a BCD-1 which, if I'm not mistaken, wasn 't replaced with his 4B and BP26. If you still insist that he should take a hike then maybe I should go with him since I have an Esoteric X-05 which I chose over the BCD-1. Never mind that I have a pair of 7B's, BP26 and a Torus CS-15. Andy will have to come with me because he spurned the BCD-1 for the X-05 as well. Now you wouldn't want that would you? What would we do here without Laundrew
.
Bill
He does? I thought he got rid of it all. Well, my mistake there.
No, you can buy whatever you want. I'm not gonna fault you for having some non-Bryston gear. Again, what I am irritated about is that pronouncement that Bryston doesn't satisfy him anymore, then goes on and on how the Mc is so great, and then says he's gonna sell the Bryston. It definitely wasn't necessary. And I found it to be in poor taste. My turntable and CD player aren't Bryston either at the present time. Then again, Bryston doesn't manufacture a turntable at the moment!
So, it's cool.
