304TL amplifier ready for bread boarding.......

Ready to go to town with this beasty. The only thing not inthe schematic is the delay circuit for the 866a rectifier turn on, otherwise I'm almost ready to start sucking juice off the grid.

Oh!  :D  Please tell more about your project!

I was just looking at this: http://www.alumrocktech.com/drawings/schematic-1bit.shtml

Do you have photos? How much power will it put out?

no photos yet, just a pile of parts on my workbench at the moment.
Doing all the math, plotting loadlines etc etc... should produce around 30 to 35 watts.

This is a super ambitious project.  How many watts does it take to light the filaments, over 50w right?

Very cool.  I've kicked around the idea of picking up some 75TLs or 100TLs. Not too easy to find and the high impedance means a custom transformer is required.

Ouch...yeah, I see why you went with SMPS.  Pretty hard to build a regulator to do 125watts!
