I have a pair of vintage PM6As. I've been advised by a couple of people (Scott Faller being one) that the whizzer on the current PM6A reduces the infamous shout. So one option is to buy 2 of the new whizzers. However, Lowther UK have an exchange arrangement and I could trade up (or would it be down?) to a pair of the new drivers.
So the question is, how does the vintage PM6A compare to the current production version? Anybody have experience of both drivers.
BTW, I intend to use them in an OB.
