Norah Jones 2010 Tour
« on: 6 Mar 2010, 03:49 pm »
We had the great pleasure of attending the kick-off of Norah Jones' 2010 tour last night here in Tulsa.  She opened at the Brady Theater; the Brady is an old, small venue with fabulous accoustics.

The show was just great; she is so talented, entertaining and fun.  I suspect a lot of us got 'burned out' because Come Away With Me got sooo much play, but she focused on the new album, with of couse a few cuts from the 1st two (only a couple from #2, which is by far my least favorite) and it was a great evening!!!

If you're a fan and get the chance, do try to take in her show!!

I saw her at the Grand Ole Opry and she was fantastic.

Randy,
Thanks.  Nothing from the third album (one of my faves)?  I intend to see her on this tour.  She's in several venues in the Midwest.

Ted_B:  my bad, I was forgetting an album.  Mostly from The Fall, with only a few songs from Feels Like Home and Not Too Late.  Interesting that Not Too Late is not one of my favorites, yet is one of your faves.  Just shows that in music, like equipment, there is no "right", "wrong" or "best"--all our tastes are different!

Enjoy, its a really great show!
