can a universal remote be used with B60-SST / B100-SST / BP6?

Hi,

Instead of spending $350 for the Bryston remote, could I use a generic universal remote instead?   Or does that $350 Remote option actually include a motorized pot?

try a Logitech programmable remote. i am using the Harmony One. it works great.

I think the B60 needs to be the R version because it doesn't come with th volume motor standard.  Maybe the newer ones are different?  James can answer that one.  I'm pretty sure the rest of Bryston gear comes with the motor standard.

I use an XBox 360 Logitech Harmony remote with my B60R.  It made life a lot easier and was on sale for $60 at Best Buy at the time.

Yes all the new B-60 C Series are "R" versions internally.
