Been playing a with it a bit just for grins, but cannot get it to recognize my laptop display- it only gives me 800x600 or 640x480 options, even in fullscreen. I am using Mint 8 (Ubuntu-based) and have tried it in both Parallels 5 and VirtualBox with the exact same behavior. Thanks.

I have both Ubuntu and Fedora running under VirtualBox. Currently I have no problems with resolution but had in the past with an previous version of Ubuntu.

If my memory serves me correctly when I encountered the problem and Googled it, I found it was a known limitation at the time.

I think you need to install Virtual Box Guest Additions to enable higher resolution. The thread below may provide value to you.

You can also do a VNC session.
