20 Amp IEC

Does anyone have a source for a 20A IEC to put on the end of my power cord?

I'm getting a new amp (McCormack DNA 500) and it has a 20A IEC on the back, not the standard 15A one. The Oayides and Furetech's are like $100+ each. Anyone know of a less "audiophile expensive" source for a quality plug? Unfortunately the usual DIY clone suppliers don't seem to have 20A models available. Too bad, since they do make those in pure copper, where even the expensive Oayides and Furetech's are not pure copper.

Thanks,
Bob

Parts Express has a Wattgate at $31.

Thanks, that may be my best choice, however they are zinc plated terminals. For gold plated or anything else it's still in the $100 range. And I just cannot find any that are pure copper.

Bob,

Assuming you're referring to your KaplanCable H.E. cords, you'll see at tweekgeek.com the 20amp IEC option is the Hubbell C320. Bring it by and I'll reterminate it.

Hey Paul, I thought you were on vacation? Checking in while Nancy isn't looking (no no)  :nono:

When are you getting home (so I can ring you up)? PM me.

Thanks,
Bob
