This is one of the former Sony high end units. Sound quality is quite respectable, and does pretty well just as a transport. I've used it in my second system when I've wanted to listen to an SACD.
The only issue with it is that the jogging switch is broken, so if you want to switch between songs, you have to use the remote. Nice remote, BTW.
I'm selling this one because I actually have another one of these players--no remote, but the jogging switch does work--and it's not as clean as this one. But if you prefer not to fuss with remotes, I'd be happy to sell the second one (not pictured) instead.
