iPod v. iTunes
« on: 25 Feb 2010, 12:26 pm »
I have a four CD set of Richard Thompson.  On iTunes, it shows all the songs for each CD.  For instance, it shows all 19 (or 18; whatever there are) songs for the first CD.

For the iPod, it shows only three songs for this same CD. In fact, every CD on the iPod has an incorrect number of songs.

What's the deal?  Do I have to go through my entire collection of songs on the iPod to see if they are downloaded?

I reloaded the CDs into iTunes in order to get them to redownload to the iPod.  Is there another way to get iTunes to redownload all the songs?

Thank you.

Shoot!  This is operator error.  I was selecting "Richard Thompson", then looking at the CDs, where only 3 of 18 songs for the first CD are listed.  However, if I go to "Albums", then select that CD, all 18 songs are listed.  That's not really the way I think, as the boxed set is a "Richard Thompson" set.

My mistake.
