I'm looking for for a local (preferably) cabinet maker who has experience building speakers.  Should be a fairly easy, straight forward build.  I have a CAD drawing.

Thanks!

Give this guy a try.  He's a mechanical engineer with experience with PA speakers and is currently building guitar amp/speakers on his own commercially.  He builds hi-fi speakers for himself.

I talked to him about building me a speaker using Altec drives once.  He seems to understand plans very well.  And, he understands resonance very well being a mechanical engineer and all.

I didn't go through with the plan to build the speaker with him though because my new condo is attached and smaller than planned.

Give Fritz a call. He's in the South Bay and makes really nice cabinets. Here's his site:

You can also PM him through this board.

Second endorsement for Fritz.  If you're looking for bookshelf, tower or sub boxes, he's your guy.

Not local, but I have been very happy with elemental designs. They can do anything and are great to work with.
