Wow!  Law Abiding Citizen is my idea of a great movie!  It has action, suspense and great acting.  The movie stars Jamie Fox and Gerald Butler.  My rating 4 out of 5 stars.

I have not seen it yet, but a friend told me it is the best movie he has seen in years.  I was a bit taken aback by such an over the top recommendation.  I saw the trailers and don't see how this kind of movie could be the best movie of the last few years, but I guess I'll wait and judge for myself.  Your recommendation and his have me curious though....

I just watched it with my wife. Yes a very good flick indeed :thumb:. Although some scenes were a bit tough to watch, the overall message was quite clear.
A must watch IMO.
4 out of 5 stars for sure 8)

I loved the movie, but hated the ending.  So I made up my own alternate ending in my head, and just prefer to remember it that way.

And you did it again.

This one just came today so I'll watch it tonight.  Thank goodness I caught  myself a few words into your post but I think your last one just ruined it.

What did I say different the 2nd time?  And that's hardly a spoiler ... the movie 'spoils' the ending sometime before the actual end anyway.  It's not Sixth Sense where the entire movie hinges on the twist at the end.

I did absolutely love all but the last 15 minutes.  Butler is just fantastic in his roll, and all the lead-up is brilliantly written.  There are a few truly shocking moments that keep you on edge.

For fucks sake, man!   :duh:

OK, so you basically said the same thing, but instead of defending your post, why don't you change both your posts so you don't give away the movie to anyone else?

I'll erase this in a few minutes in case anyone else hasn't seen the movie!

Fair enough, edited ...

Guys:

I just modified the Welcome/Guidelines Thread with a PS welcoming reviews but not to provide details that might spoil viewership for those who have not seen a movie.  When I saw Law Abiding Citizen yesterday I knew nothing about the movie and as I stated in the original thread it one very interesting, suspenseful flick.

Tense movie, lotsa suspense. Loved it. Hollywood ending, but what the hell...still darn good.
4/5.

I just watched this on a flight to London and thought it was excellent.  I will definitely watch it again in my HT to maximize the experience.

Just finished watching this one tonight after having it stare at me all week begging for attention lol. I have to say, I LOVED it. I thought a lot of it was unpredictable (other than the ending), which I always like. It made for good discussion with my lady friend how Gerard Butler's character made you feel at different points in the film. Glad I saw this one!
