Here is a nice tested pair of Amperex HP 12AU7 tubes made in the famed Herleen Holland factory.
One tube has partial white logo and the other tube is blank. Tubes have identical construction with gray box plates and halo getters. One tube has delta8F1 (Herleen June 1968) etched code and the other has no visible code. See picture for details.
Tubes test 80/82 and 82/80 on my Sencore tester, where 70 is the minimum GOOD reading. 12AU7 tubes consistently test about 10 points lower than other types on the Sencore for some reason. Tubes were negative for shorts and grid leakage.
