I just received a uDac and am running it from my iMac to a desktop Tivoli Audio system, and it works fine. I am wondering if the uDac would improve any of the systems I have hooked up with Airport Express. I have three: two hooked up to powered speakers by a mini jack and RCA cables, and one using optical toslink to my home AV receiver. I see that I could hook up the uDac using the USB port, but don't know if the signal that the Express receives would benefit from the DAC.

The Airport Express USB port can only be used for connecting a USB printer or Keyspan Express Remote.  It does not output digital audio.  The only digital audio output from the AE is the optical Mini-Toslink.
