Those would be a
welcome addition to the old homestead.

I saw them too a few days ago. I've not heard the Hageman design. As the seller said, they are rare as hens teeth. Rumor has it from those who have heard them, the Hageman's don't go very low and the highs are a bit muted because of the horn design. The mids, midbass and lower treble region are supposed to be killer.


An interesting point about that vintage of PM4T (Ticonal). The voice coil of the original had dual windings, one inside and one outside the pole piece. The seller mentioned that he had them reconed. The new cones don't use the dual coils. They have a single winding on the outside of the pole piece.
