"An independent survey conducted by Inside Track (2010 Supplier Loyalty test) has put Bryston at the top in the ‘Product Performance’ and ‘Resolution of Service Return/Repair’ categories and at the number two sport in the ‘Tech Support’ category. The survey was conducted in 43 US states and 7 Canadian provinces. ‘Our dealers have always appreciated Bryston’s best-in-class performance and reliability, however these attributes are magnified in a challenging economy and dealers must turn to brands they can rely on,’ stated Bryston president Brian Russell. Bryston is the only manufacturer that offers a 20-year transferable parts and labour warranty on analogue products and a 5-year warranty for digital products. ‘We certainly benefit from retailers who take time to properly demo our gear although many of our newer outlets are working with architects and builders—industry leaders that spec Bryston into large jobs because of performance, reliability, and support they can count on,’ Russell concluded."

Hi Rick,

Yes thank you I saw this, and we are certainly pleased with the result.  This is an industry magazine so it puts us in good stead with our (piers :duh:) peers.

Is the 20 vs 5 years difference based on decreased reliability of digital circuitry or the fact that 5 years represents an "eternity" in digital product development and that failed parts at 4-5 years are several generations out of date?

Hi Steve,

A bit of both and we may increase the digital warranty as we move forward once we have a little history with it.
