That's an absolutely gorgeous stereo.  That is more than likely the best sounding system in your state!

Absolutely fabulous! Would you be kind enough to comment on the acoustic treatment you are using in your sound room?

I'm considering various options for isolation racks and stands.  Current options include the Townshend Seismic Sink Stand and a not-yet-available unit from Critical Mass Systems.  Also the Solid-Tech Rack of Silence.

Problem isn't too bad since the 12" woofer fires towards the side walls, not toward the equipment.  I can't feel the equipment vibrate at all regardless of bass content or volume.  The dCs "stack", JRDG amp, and P1000 each weigh about 80-100 lbs and have well designed chasses (particularly the amp).

Check my system page for room treatment details.  The ugly eggrate foam is temporary until I decide what display system I'll be using.  Considering the new Samsung 70" plasma and Qualia 004 projector (both true 1080x1920), or waiting until there is a 1080p DLP front projector which will be towards the end of the year.  If I go with projector there will be room for a 92" diagonal HDTV screen.

The eggcrate stuff doesn't look too bad, really.  Some fancier foam would be nice, but I'd wager no one complains about the look once you fire those babies up! 8)

I can only imagine what five of those would sound like with DVD-A & SACD! :o

You may get used to the eggcrate look. I have and it really doesn't bother me. My girlfriend was going to make some curtains to cover it up and hasn't bothered yet so it must not bother her either.  The sound improvement is worth it.  And what do you think of improving room acoustics Ekovalsky?

Pictures of the RM/X crossover and cabinet interior added to the gallery.

Opened the speakers to fix a vibration I heard on only a single track.  It may have been the Analysis-Plus wire hitting the back of the woofer, after moving things around in there it seems to be gone.

Also redistributed the fiberglass so it was packed similarly in each channel.  Got this as a tip from Julian so figured "why not?"

Cabinet is internally braced, as previously reported.
