I'm debating pulling the trigger on a Marantz SC-7 in black.  The guy said it works fine, and if not will refund my $.  He is asking $150.00 for it.

Thoughts?

Just remember that it is vintage and could die at any moment,,,,,or work great for years and years. Probably old power supply caps need replacing and stuff like that. I have owned many vintage Marantz receivers (tho this is a preamp), I have actually had pretty good luck with them. However, there are many newer products that sound better, IMHO.
