The present DAC's in Brystons are all Cirrus Logic, any advantages going to a different brand - up sampling/quality of sound?

The manner in which a DAC is implemented makes all the difference (as well as other factos).  Many products use the same DACs.  It's like comparing apples to oranges.  A product designed for home theater has the DACs implemented in a totally different manner.

Hi,

What I am asking if the cirrus logic DAC's in Bryston products are the best of what is available in the market?
There are now DAC firms that can supply 32 bit audio resolution in their chips, so are the Cirrus logic still the best.... And you are not voting, I was just highlighting the Bryston products with Cirrus Logic DAC's...

Ciao,
Luigi
