SOLD: Eminent Technology LFT-8

I recently purchased a second pair of LFT-8's to try stacked in my new house.  I tried them in my existing room (small room) and while impressive, mostly preferred the single pair.  I most likely didn't give them the best chance to succeed as the room is pretty small, but I found stacking to lose just a touch of focus that I like.

The final straw was when I actually started moving into the new house, it became evident that there really wasn't enough room width there either with the rest of my components/racks. :duh: :duh:

So I have decided to sell my original pair. Right now these are the 'a' revision with the older style tweeters. Some prefer these and they are nice, but I prefer the newer 'b' tweeters. The b revision is normally $400 upgrade.

I have within the last 90 days or so replaced ALL drivers (panels and woofers-$475 spent) so functionally these are very new. Cosmetically they are showing their age.....I'd put them at a 7/10 or possibly 6/10 due to the grills just to be conservative. No scratches at all on the metal. The grills have a few pulls in them and some of the velcro that holds the grills on isn't in that great of shape. This is an easy fix if you want to use the grills...just need to cut out some new pieces and stick them on. I always listened with the grills off. These have some of the best binding posts I've ever had. Bruce doesn't even make them anymore, they are solid copper. They are the Edison Price posts.

I'm thinking $850 obo for the speakers plus shipping, less if someone wants to come pick them up. They are a pain to box up. PM me if you are interested in that option. (Tulsa, OK) I do have the new 'b' revision tweeters on the way, and I will offer them at the price I paid, $270 (got a deal as a repeat customer) or I can send them back for a refund. The newer tweeters use neo magnets and have better extension, but are monopole instead of dipole like the original tweeter panels.

Here's a crummy pic I shot from my phone a couple weeks ago.
