could somebody tell me how to engage/disengage?

Hi Mike,

My firmware is 44a on my SP1.7.  Engaging the X-bass, simply go to the setup menu.  Then go to OS and adjust the level of the extra bass.  I don't use X-bass so my level is at 0.0db.

Manual for the SP1.7 is available in Bryston's website.  I hope this helps.

my settings is 0.0db too,but i just wanted to be sure it isnt on.
So at zero db it should be off?

I remember i have seen  somewhere in the menu option  xbass on/off..,or not?
