[Gopher]

I have a very nice Berendsen CDP-1 I am ready to let go of.  It is a very good sounding player and it replaced a Meridian G08 in my system (which replaced a Musical Hall a308cr). 

I am the original owner of this great piece which never got the domestic enthusiasm it deserved.  For those not familiar, it is essentially an upgraded GaMut (Sterophile Class A) player--Berendsen was the OEM.

I love the player and it works well in my system, but my digital playback is going to be handled via a Squeezebox and outboard DAC from here on out, so this needs to go.

I'm asking $1150 shipped CONUS or best offer.

This is an excellent, excellent player, has a lot of soul of it's own.

Let me talk about this with some friends in Mexico, we were hoping more CDP-1s to arrive but only few did and many guys kept waiting and waiting.
