Seeing as Salk Sounds is within a few miles of Detroit (lucky for us).  How many of you are close by?  Where are you in other words?

Just west of Big Rapids, but I was born and raised in the Detroit area and my mom still lives in Davison, so I get over that way a couple times a month.

Hey Detroit,

I think we should try and put something together around Akfest?
I'm in Central, OH but come up to the Motor city quite a bit when the weather breaks.

Well, as long as everyone is giving their roots, I did my graduate work at the U of Mich Ann Arbor and taught for 5 years at the U of Mich Dearborn.  I've paid my dues.   And I plan on being at AKFest.

In and out for a day or are you staying for a few?

Dunno--I'll probably have to be in and out because of conflicts on Sunday, but I'm not sure.  In any event, I hope Jim has that big room again.
