If anyone is interested I have updated my webpage regarding the active system based on Norh and Kratos speakers. http://users.mweb.co.za/c/cd/cdg/hi-fi.html
Any input would be welcome
Thanks

Looks to be quite a sweet rig there!  (well, I do remember seeing it awhile ago as well) The photos could use some level adjustments though, the blacks are all washed out!  I really like the crackle finish on the subs and the wooden emblem is a cool touch.  I have Norh 7.0s but in the photos I've seen it seems like the 9.0s are bigger, with a 'fatter' curve on the drum.  Hmmm.  I'm using un-modified Wave 8s on my tweeters as well with LeAmps driving the mids.  But then I hooked up the SE-9 and liked that a bit better on the mids.  It's kinda tweaky getting the whole active thing going, but it's fun to experiment.  I still kinda think I like the passive XO better.  Hard to say.

Nice system though; neat and symmetrical!  :D

The Wave 8s really need to be modified...

I upgraded the caps to MITs and the difference was enormous to a
say the least....
I would email Joseph Lau and ask him about the upgrade. It is worthwhile.
The highs were so much more detailed.
Also the standard Wave8s roll off at about 16kHz. With the high frequency transformers their resonse changes for the better on the highs.
Cheers
