If you bypass the 47nF and 1nF caps with a 0.01uF capacitor per, you will have 57nF and 11nF respectively which are very large as compared to the computed values of the circuit design.

REY, you didn't specify what type of orange drops you're using; the 715P and the 716P types belong to the polypropylene line. As the 716P types are metal foil caps, they are
objectively *better* than the Sonicaps.
Besides, straying that far from the spec'd value would alter the tonal balance. Tubes has some pretty interesting finds in regards to cap values and EQ which he reiterated in his post here. His other posts on the subject should be informative as well.
