I put this baby back in the system tonight.

WOW - WHAT was I thinking?!?!

We will find a way to keep baby away.  Amp is no longer for sale.

Hmm.. that's not nice.. and it is very hard to beat the Yamamoto 45 if your speakers play with it.

I heard the Viva preamp recently and I must say it is world class.

The preamp + monos are very, very serious $.  I wonder what kind of sonic premium they offer over the integrated.

My guess is not much if you are not driving the amplifier too hard.  The topology, circuit, parts are all the same - just three boxes vs. one so you get the separate power supplies.

The convenience of an integrated is nice, although moving it is no fun.

Yes, the separates are serious money, but your integrated is not exactly chump change either.  I have heard far more expensive equipment that don't compete with Viva gear.  They are world class musical instruments, disguised as audio equipment.

you probably made the right decision Paul!  I had one of these myself and had to reduce pricing over a period of 6mos to the $3000 level to sell it ... miss it to this day!  It is an integrated amp that rivals some SOTA separates
