Am setting up a bi-amped, active rig w/ H baffles and 15s to 100hz or so and OB or open backed boxes with biflexes to 5khz crossed to BMS 4552s in JBL 85x85 degree waveguide/ horns with triode amps.  Has anyone else experimented w/ these drivers in OB and/or an OB and HB combo?

i used 420s in pretty small open baffle combined with vintage german saba grenncones. Similar to P24 from Lampizator. Sounded spectacular. I was using old german dual40 amp with loudness function and it seriously kicked ass  for me, the 420a (as well as 420y) are my favourite (extended range)woofers. Since i have old alnico woofers from tesla, i don´t use them anymore. Maybe i should..
