After a successful ARCA race @ Daytona last saturday where Danca's #7 car finished 7th, Danica decided to race in the Nationwide Daytona instead of her original plan to skip Dayton and wait to race California. The Arca race was filled with multiple crashes. 1 car flew into the catch fence and had the race delayed for over 1/2 hour while they fixed the fence. Another car ended up landing on it's roof and yet another car did a good 9 car roll. There were a lot of rookies besides Danica in this race and the intensity of the crashes proved this out. Danica herself was bumped into a sideways spin going into the 1st corner but she showed her driving skills by not only keeping the car from going around but steering it out of the side and keep it straight while on the grass. Very impressive for a rookie. Danica even did some side bumping on the last lap to the finish line.
 
I look forward to seeing lots of women sporting the GoDaddy t-shirts in the crowd this season.

Yeah, now instead of consistently focusing on the back of the pack in Indy cars, they'll be focusing on the back of the pack in whatever Stock Car class Patrick happens to be running in.  Indy can get back to keeping the camera where it should be, on the best drivers in the field.

Indy has been suffering for quite some time now as more and more of their most popular drivers jump ship to NASCAR, who will be benefiting bigtime with this latest defection. The fact that Danica is both good looking and a damn good driver makes it that much more to look forward to for NASCAR fans.
