Just joined the Circle as I am clearing out some of my multi channel stuff (I have a few items for sale on Audiogon under the same jonathan_s user name). I built 5 of these Hagerman monoblocks to run the Madisound BK-16 speaker enclosures running Fostex FE166ES-R's and T90A tweeters.
These are super quiet, and very detailed little amps. Can run 120 or 240V depending on how they're jumpered internally. These retail for $2,500/pair factory assembled or about $1000/pair to buy in kit form and assemble yourself. All of these units have around 1000 hours on them (probably less!).

1 pair:
Upgraded caps (Auricaps), Eichmann copper binding posts, and Vampire copper bodied RCA jacks. Complete with NOS Tungsol 5AR4 rectifiers and all A(or better) rated 6H30 tubes (Jim Hagerman was kind enough to test and rate all of the tubes I bought prior to building the amps). These have a 2” slight mark to the edge finish on one of the back sides and a couple of ultra tiny nicks here and there. Note that one set of the binding posts is about ½” higher in the chassis than the other (see picture). $800/pr + shipping.
1 pair:
Built with standard quality amplifier parts, with B rated 6H30’s and JJ rectifiers. There are a couple of light scratches and nicks on the back and top side and of one of the units (see picture). Again, the binding posts are slightly offset from one another on the 2 units. $700/pr + shipping.
1 single amp
As above, but with no scratches on the unit. $350 + shipping.
Take all five for $1600 + shipping – less than the cost of one pair of factory assembled units!
