AKG K-1000 Headphones - Great Condition / in AKG K1000 Box - Serial 06873
These headphones have been Professionally re-cabled with a 6 foot ALO (Audio Line Out) banana cable.
They sound wonderful and I am sad to see them go. I have used them with everything from a Marantz reciever to a Red Wine Audio Sig 30... never a complaint. Heard new things in Pink Floyd songs after years of listening on great systems and otherwise great headphones (i.e. AKG K-701's, Sennheiser HD-650's, etc.).
They are in near mind condition, with some wear on the pads (where they rest against your head - they still have plenty of "life" in them, they are soft and cushiony - if thats a real word?). The box is missing one of the rubber pads on the bottom (this is really not a big deal, but full disclosure). I do not have the manual but you really don't need it, everything you could possibly want to know is available online.
Anyway, I have to part with them, for less then I spent and will look forward to carefully boxing them up and shipping them to their new owner with FREE SHIPPING!
